Choose your role and character
First on Battlerite, it is important to choose your preferred role. There are three different ones, namely, the role of Support, the role of Melee and character role to Distance.
How to choose your role
Before choosing the character you want to play, it is worth choosing the role in which you will specialize. To choose this famous role, we advise you to play two characters from each role in order to define the one that suits you the most. Opt for easy to play characters if you are just starting out in the game, do not try to evolve on characters requiring experience where you will not enjoy the game since you will feel helpless.
Support role
The characters of Support are characters that provide healing, control, and shields. Some of them do a lot of damage and therefore less healing, for example, while others provide great healing and do less damage. If you decide to take on this role, Blossom will then be an excellent choice for a beginner.
The role of Body-to-body
The characters with Melee are high damage characters and are able to survive through shield or self-heal (healing their own character). If you decide to take on this role, Smoke will then be an excellent choice for a beginner.
The Ranged character role
The characters at Distance are characters that inflict heavy damage and whose survival depends mainly on the distance they keep from their enemies. Each of them has various means that allow them to get out of delicate situations. If you decide to take on this role, Ashka will then be an excellent choice for a beginner.
Know all the characters
In the game each character has mechanics and a skill tree different from the others. This is why it is important to know the skills of each of the characters in the game in order to adopt different styles of play during each of your games.
Play in League
Once you have chosen your champion and you know most of the characters briefly, it will be time for you to get started in the mode. League. This mode will allow you to gauge your level since a League will be assigned to you. Most League players take games more seriously, and as a result you will be playing against stronger players.
Communicate with your allies
This advice may seem benign, but it is very important to communicate with your allies in game. If you have just lost a round, for example, ask your ally what they think is wrong, or tell them what you think do in the next round. Talking with your teammate will allow him to know your intentions for the upcoming round and thus adapt his style of play to yours.
Watch top players
As in all competitive video games, watching high level players will allow you to improve. Indeed if you play Taya and Downpour (high level player on Battlerite) is broadcasting his games on Twitch, watching and analyzing his way of playing will allow you to deepen your knowledge of the character in question, and thus, play better.
