cyberpunk 2077 is finally available since Thursday, December 10 on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Stadia but is also playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X and S.
As with all games, CD Projekt offers updates to fix various bugs and issues encountered by players. Find below the contents of the patch 1.06 which was released by the developers.

What does Cyberpunk 1.06 patch 2077 contain?
If you patch 1.05 fixed many bugs at all levels, this update 1.06 of 509 MB on PC solves probably the most annoying bug of all players, i.e. backup corruption if it is more than 8 MB.

Here is the information on this light patch that was given on the Cyberpunk 2077 site directly:
Quest
- Dum Dum will no longer disappear from the Totentanz entrance during Second Conflict.
PC specific
- Improved memory handling and stability, resulting in fewer crashes.
Console specific
- Removed 8 MB save file size limit. Remark : This will not fix corrupt save files before the update.
As you can read, for PC gamers, so you won't be able to recover your corrupt save(s) but you will finally be able to play again normally without fear of losing your progress.
