1Cards from the Zoo Midrange Warlock Deck
This first part of our tutorial dedicated to the Zoo Midrange Warlock Deck will show you all the cards to put in your hand in order to build the deck that allowed Kolento to win his match against Lifecoach. This deck will be both suitable against aggressive decks but can also allow you to maintain constant pressure on the board. This deck will be suitable for the following classes: Thief, Warrior, Druid and will have more difficulty against classes with good AOE such as the Mage or the Priest.

2How to play the Midrange Warlock deck
When choosing your cards, you will need to look for at least one one-crystal card: Flame Imp or Voidwalker. Note that there will only be one Flame Imp in your deck so as not to lose too much life if you ever play against an aggro deck of the Hunter, Warrior or Mecha Mage type. Do not be afraid if you have none of the creatures in your starting hand because most of the deck can be placed on turn 2 like the Nerubian egg for example if your opponent ever plays "Control", i.e. a part controlled over the long term (most of the time more than 10 laps).

We are now going to tell you about the two "Knife Juggler" cards present in your deck. As you know, by placing a new creature on the edge, it will throw a knife of 1 point of damage randomly. To activate it in the best possible way, you can place the Knife Juggler and then use one of the following cards:
- Activate Nerubian Egg Deathrattle (1 Knife)
- Activate Haunted Creeper Deathrattle (1 Knife)
- Activate the power of the Imp Gang Leader (1 knife per appearance)
- Imp Eruption (from 2 to 4 knives)
- Death of a Voidcaller to pose a demon (1 knife)

Imp Eruption | Voidcaller |
Secondly, it will be interesting to quickly place the Nerubian Egg and successfully activate it in order to create a 4/4 creature on the table. To activate it, several cards will be useful in your deck:
Cross Sergeant: by placing the rude sergeant, you can add +1 attack point during your turn to the nerubian egg. It will not take more to make him commit suicide against a card greater than or equal to 2 attack points and thus create a 4/4 creature or even kill your opponent's.
Overwhelming Power: add +4/+4 to your egg. This will then be destroyed at the end of the turn and will activate the death rattle of your card.
Defender of Argus: You can also add the Defender of Argus next to the Nerubian egg which will receive the +1/+1 and provocation characteristics.
Terror of the Void: by placing this card, it will destroy the minions next to it. By placing it near a nerubian egg, you will therefore have the possibility of triggering its death rattle directly.
Imp Eruption: Finally, if you have no other means, you can also use the eruption of imps directly on your nerubian egg. The best will be to combine this "combo" with the Knife Juggler.

Nerubian Egg | Terror of the Void |
Imp Eruption | Defender of Argus |
Finally, three cards will have good synergies. Mal'Ganis will add +2/+2 to all other demons on the edge. In addition, it can be placed directly via the Voidcaller and will allow you to use your passive without taking damage. Sylvanas can be combined with the Terror of the Void in order to directly activate his deathrattle and finally the Terror of the Void can be combined with the effects of the Rude Sergeant or the Overwhelming Power in order to gain +1 or +4/+4 directly!

Sylvanas Coursevent (x1) | |

3Possible Deck Modifications
The big difficulty of this deck will be its big blow to dust if you want with the three legendaries: Sylvanas, Dr. Boom and Mal'Ganis. Unfortunately for you, these cards will be almost essential to the functionality of this deck that can allow you to mount Legend in the current meta. You will still be able to remove two legendaries and add two Sea Giants. Sea Giants will be easy to place on the edge after activating an Imp Gang Leader or an Imp Eruption. Furthermore, it may be interesting to add a Ancient Healing Robot this deck to heal you if the game tends to go too long. Finally, you can also add the map Hobgobelin allowing you to boost all your little creatures which will then become overpowered!

As shown in the table below, the mana curve will be very low and will force you to gain control of the edge quite quickly. But fear not because Mal'Ganis will be here to boost all of your mid-game demons and Dr. Boom will be here to finish the job.

4Evolution of the deck in season 15 of Kolento in the ESL finals
Finally, Kolento recently made several changes to their "Midrange Demon Zoo" decklist. We suggest you find this complete list below. You will see that he decided to place Dire Wolf Alpha, able to activate the Nerubian Egg more easily or even increase the power of your Terror of the Void. For her part, Sylvanas is no longer in her decklist but a Doom Plague is appearing. Note that this card will have the effect of killing a creature with 1 or 2 life points to trigger its effect: placing a demon on the edge. You will be able to perform a good card advantage and have a 3 out of 16 chance of recovering a Legendary. Not to mention several demons capable of turning a situation around like the Floating Watcher or the Voidcaller.
