List of Battlefield 2042 Specialists
In Battlefield 2042, you will be able to discover the new Specialist system which is inspired by the four classes of Battlefield. Each specialist has a unique specialty and attributeMore the rest of the equipment is fully modifiable.
Kimble « Irish » Graves
Irish is the captain of the Specialists aboard the Exodus. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, his leadership qualities and combat skills allow him to ensure the safety of the Homeless. He excels in fortifying positions on the battlefield and creating small outposts that the team can use as rallying points to launch an attack.
- Specialty - Fortification System : Includes the DCS deployable protection to protect against bullets and explosives, and the APS-36 sentry to destroy explosive projectiles.
- Attribute - Veteran : Provides shielding. Additional bonuses on downed enemies.
Webster Mackay
An outdoorsman, nomad and soldier. Mackay is a badass with a moral sense. Following in the footsteps of his father, Mackay joined the Canadian Army as a teenager. At the height of his military career, he was a member of Joint Task Force Two in an anti-terrorist unit. After leaving the military, he followed his dreams of exploration and life on the fringes of society. Today, this storm trooper fights alongside the Sans-patrie to wipe the towel over a regret caused by his military career.
- Specialty - Boarding Grapple : Pulls a rope that attaches to surfaces. When attached, the rope retracts and the character is pulled to the attachment point.
- Attribute - Mobility : The player moves faster when using the crosshair, which further boosts his speed.
Maria Falck

Pyotr « Boris » Guskovsky
Stubborn and individualistic, Boris seeks to claim power and control in a chaotic world. While his leadership qualities may seem a little aggressive to some, his talent on the pitch is undeniable. This Russian-born engineer is one of the most experienced weapons experts in the group, especially when it comes to defensive tactics, but his relationship with the team remains unclear. That being said, Boris is trustworthy when it comes to completing a mission, even if considerable collateral damage is to be expected.
- Specialty - SG-36 Auto Turret : Automatically spots and attacks enemy targets within a certain radius.
- Attribute - Turret Operator : When the turret gun locks on an enemy, they are spotted.
Wikus «Casper» van Daele
Scout Wikus works solo. He is the calm and unflappable element of his Task Force. Former intelligence agent in South Africa, Wikus is a master of camouflage and long-range engagement. After revealing a plot involving a high-ranking officer who threatened his comrades and local civilians, Wikus was falsely accused of murder and fled the country. He aligned himself with the Homeless in hopes of one day being able to return home, if such a place still exists.
- Specialty - OV-P reconnaissance drone : Spots moving targets and can disorient the enemy with electromagnetic pulses. It can also designate targets for lock-on weapons.
- Attribute - Motion Sensor : Alerts the player when enemies are approaching, whether on the move or at the controls of the reconnaissance drone.
