Battlefield V: Firestorm Weapon List - Battle Royale BFV

Our articles about Battlefield V Battlefield V: List of Firestorm Weapons - Battle Royale BFV Are you looking for a list of the different weapons on Halvøy, the Battle Royale mode map of Battlefield V? We tell you all about the rare and epic versions of Firestorm weapons.

Firestorm, the Battle Royale mode of Battlefield V, takes up the basics of the original game, especially with regard to weapons. Indeed, you will find an arsenal similar to that already present in BFV (see our list of weapons in the game) allowing you to eliminate your opponents. Nevertheless, it is important to know the 16 main weapons, present on Halvøy, in order to triumph in the ring of fire.

Weapon Basics

Like most Battle Royales, Firestorm has a rarity system for weapons. The 16 main weapons are lootable with a level of rarity: common, rare and epic.

These categories affect the number of weapon attachments and upgrades:

→ Common: no upgrades and accessories

→ Rare: two upgrades and one accessory

→ Epic: two upgrades (usually the best) and one or even two accessories

Firestorm main weapon list

There are several types of primary weapons on Halvøy and these will greatly determine your playstyle during your game. Here is the list of weapons by type along with their strengths and weaknesses.

Machine guns:

Weapons that you will often find in combat since they are versatile and effective at close range. However, if you don't try to rush your opponents, these can quickly find themselves useless... Unless you have epic versions which tend to be a little too powerful.

The MP40 : Surely the most appreciated submachine gun by players, the MP40 excels on Firestorm, especially in the epic version… The rare version has improvements for fast aiming and reduced recoil, as well as a red dot sight. The epic version improves aiming and has a short-range lens sight.

Le Suomi KP / -31 : On BFV there are two types of players: those who know how to master the KP31 and those who liquidate the balls without hitting the mark... Given the size of Halvøy, we advise you not to be part of the second category. The rare version improves its deployment and hip fire. An epic Suomi benefits from an increased rate of fire, reduced recoil. Both versions (rare and epic) feature a red dot sight.

Le Sten : Close to the MP40, the Sten is a very solid machine gun, especially in its epic version. The rare model improves hipfire, reloads faster and has a red dot sight. The epic version improves hipfire and reduces recoil (in addition to having a red dot sight).

The M1928A1 : The "Tommy Gun" of mafia movie fans, this gun will rarely be your first choice and more of a default use. The rare version reduces recoil, allows for faster aiming, and has a red dot sight. The epic version benefits from an extended magazine, reduced recoil and a lens sight.

Rifles:

As mentioned above, your first weapons looted in a game will dictate your style of play. If you get a rifle, you will have the option of choosing between positional rush or a more passive optic in order to wait for a group and eliminate players from a distance while maintaining a position. Also, rifles are great weapons in addition to a more specialized option (sniper/pump) to vary the styles.

Le rifle 43 : Versatile and mobile, this weapon is a great option on Halvøy if you are new to BFV. The rare version improves aiming and has a diopter sight. With an epic build, your bullets are faster, recoil is reduced, and you can use a mid-range ZF4 scope.

The M1A1 carbine : The iconic M1A1 may not be the best rifle but its rate of fire makes it a worthwhile option if your position is rushed by other players. Its rare version improves aiming and deploy speed. The epic version features an extended magazine and improved hipfire. Both versions have a red dot sight.

StG 44 : Probably the best rifle in the game with the Gustloff, its epic version is of formidable precision, ideal for winning games. The rare version reduces recoil, speeds up aiming, and has a red dot sight. The Epic model has faster aiming, reduced recoil and features a ZF4 medium range scope.

Le prototype Gustloff : Difficult to find faults with the Gustloff which, like the StG 44, is an excellent offensive and defensive option on Firestorm. The rare version reduces recoil, speeds up reloading, and has a red dot sight. Get your hands on an epic model to enjoy improved aiming, reduced recoil and a red dot sight.

Sniper Rifles:

As in the majority of Battle Royale, sniper rifles will be feared by all players. If at the start of the game it can be difficult to take full advantage of these weapons, they become the queens of the game as soon as it is possible to take a position and see the enemy squads coming.

ZH-29 : A versatile sniper with a good rate of fire. The rare version has a bipod and a short range sight. In addition, it allows you to aim faster. The epic version's bullets and aiming are faster. It also has a mid-range scope.

Kar98 : The classic World War II sniper rifle. Timeless, precise and efficient, a monster not to be put in all hands. Its rare version speeds up deployment and aiming. It also has a short range sight. The epic version benefits from a bipod, a quick mechanism and a medium range scope.

Lee-Enfield No. 4 Mk l : More versatile and easier to use than the Kar98, this weapon is ideal for eliminating a squad in Rush from an entrenched position thanks to its rate of fire. The rare version speeds up reloading and deployment. Get your hands on an epic build to enjoy a bayonet and quick action mechanism.

Machine Guns:

Machine guns are weapons used more to confront opponents in position or about to move. Be careful, however, because you are exchanging a high rate of fire for reduced precision.

Le Bren : Difficult to handle without its bipod, this A weapon easily recognizable thanks to its magazine mounted on the top. With a rare build, you get reduced recoil and reload time as well as an AA sight. Bullets from an epic Bren are faster. Additionally, it has an upgraded bipod and M84 medium range scope.

The GF 42 : Powerful at close range, this automatic rifle is good for covering an ally or eliminating a group in a confined space. However, pay attention to the size of the charger. The rare version speeds up and improves aiming and has a medium range AA sight. The Epic version has reduced recoil, allows faster aiming on the move, and features a mid-range ZFG42 scope.

The MG42 : A classic of the genre, powerful, powerful and effective for a submachine gun. Deadly with a sight in its epic version. The rare version has a flash hider as well as a short range AA sight. In addition, his bullets are faster. Find an Epic MG42 to enjoy improved cooling, higher rate of fire, and a close range sight.

Shotguns:

In a Rush situation, push-ups are always good weapons in Battle Royale. However, don't expect to master them like a Fortnite shotgun.

The 12g Automatic : If the basic version is interesting but nothing more, the rare and epic versions are deadly in melee. A rifle that has seen its share of world wars. The rare version has an extended magazine and recharges faster. The epic version benefits from a heavy loadout and increased penetrating power.

The M97 : Again, it all depends on which version you get. A common version will be effective only in extremely specific combat situations. The rare version has faster aiming and fires bullets, while the epic has an improved trigger, short-range lattey sight, and deals more headshot damage.

Firestorm's other weapons:

There are 5 support weapons, allowing you in particular to protect yourself once on the ground. If their effectiveness is very limited in the combat phase, they can save you from a critical situation.

→Pistolet P38

→Pistolet P08

→ M1911

→ FP-45 Liberator

→ Revolver Mk Vl

It's also possible to use melee weapons (besides the bayonet on some weapons) on Firestorm, though again, it's hard to really use them regularly.

→ British pocket knife

→ Club

→ Cricket bat

→ Hatchet

→ Kukri

→ Machete

→ Pickaxe

→ Scout Knife

→ Leather

→ Solveig Knife

So much for Firestorm's arsenal of weapons, at least upon leaving Battle Royale mode. Additionally, gadgets and vehicles are available on Halvøy. However, EA and DICE have confirmed the addition of new weapons and equipment in the future. For more information on the Battle Royale mode, head over to our complete guide to Firestorm.
