Setting aside (a little) the paid microtransactions system, Battlefield V offers a model of skins and customization using daily challenges and in-game progression in order to unlock company coins (Company Coins, CC). We could then consider that the best way to obtain CC is to play the game, however, there are a few other methods to quickly earn credits, in order to unlock your favorite skins.
How do I get Company Coins?
CCs can be obtained in the following ways:
→ By completing special tasks during your games, these are linked to your class
→ By completing the 3 daily challenges, which change every day at 4am
→ By gaining levels in the game, through experience
→ By purchasing company coins directly from the EA store (with real money)
Special tasks
BF V's special tasks can be found in the tasks tab and are divided into several categories depending on your class. Depending on the difficulty of each task, the number of CC obtained changes, which makes some challenges more interesting than others.
Special Tasks will bring a lot of CC in the early game
According to DICE, these tasks will evolve over time (potentially with each new chapter of the game, or roughly every 3-4 months), which means it's important to complete them in each class as needed. as soon as possible.
The daily challenges
Three in number at the moment, the daily challenges allow you to obtain 100 company coins each (and potentially more in the future) for generally fairly simple tasks which nevertheless require you to change classes during the day.
Daily Challenges currently reward 100 CC each
Battlefield V's Daily Challenges change every day at 4am, making them a great source of coins to unlock cosmetic content.
Leveling up in the game
The experience system is a fundamental element of the Battlefield saga since it has existed since the very first games. If it was enough to level up on Battlefield 2 to unlock a weapon, Battlefield V also requires you to level up to obtain customization elements (sights, stock, charger) on your various weapons and vehicles.
But besides these gears, leveling up will also give you a large amount of company coins (at least in the first levels), hence the success of certain achievements (not sure that these are cumulative, we do not yet have access to hours of play to confirm this point).
Best way to get coins
It is not not really possible to specifically farm company parts since special tasks and daily challenges are not repeatable. From then on, you will quickly be blocked in your progress since only level gains (and daily challenges every 24 hours) will guarantee you a gain in CC.
You will be able to customize your weapon on different elements
However, if you are new to Battlefield V, we recommend that you spend a few hours completing all your special tasks after reaching the first levels of the game, this should allow you to buy your first customization kits on BF V.
While Battlefield V avoids the microtransaction issues of Battlefront 2 through a fairly standard system used on games like Fortnite or League of Legends (challenges and earning coins while playing), the current model will not benefit players with a significant game time, since the gain in CC will be more and more limited in the long term. At least, as long as the daily challenges are limited to three for a total of 300 company coins.
