Battlefield 2042 will be available in open beta from this Friday, October 8 before officially releasing on Friday, November 19 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
As in previous games, you will be able to have to deal with many vehicles in addition to players on the field and among these combat devices, we find helicopters and fighter jets. To shoot them down, you will of course need to equip yourself with a rocket launcher.

Can you shoot down choppers and fighter jets in Battlefield 2042?
In the game, it will of course be possible to destroy helicopters and fighter planes that can pound positions from the air. To do this, there are several methods, the first of which is to equip yourself with an FMX-33 AA rocket launcher, the basic gadget assault class played by Mackay. It should be noted that in this opus, this equipment is not limited to a single specialist (or class) and you can equip it on all the characters in the game.
The second way is shoot them down using another fighter jet or helicopter, but of course, you will have to be precise. As for the last method, it relies a little on luck and on the fact that some players on board these vehicles would come to approach a little too close to the ground. If so, and if you are specific enough, you can stick them a charge of C4.
Finally, we remind you that Battlefield 2042 hasa beta in early access available from this Wednesday, October 6 for EA Play subscribers and players who pre-ordered the game, before the arrival of an open beta on Friday, October 8.
