With Genshin Impact update 1.2 comes a new area: Dosdragon Mountains. This new place to explore is full of activities to do and some of the secrets to discover include stone tablets, stelae which has an ancient inscription. You may be wondering what they are for.
These allow you to unlock a secret room as well as a very interesting 4-star weapon: a two-handed sword ideal for attackers Cryo. In this guide, you are given the location of the 8 stelae and how to unlock the Silverstar Snowfall.

Location of the 8 stelae
Stela 1
- This first stele is relatively simple, you will find it near the river, near the Snow Road and Dadaupa Valley area, between two braziers.
Stela 2
- It is very likely that you will find this one on your own: from the teleportation point in Dragonsnore Valley, follow the path to find the Stele near a chest.
Stela 3
- Take the Glowing Star Cave teleport point or follow the path from Mingyun Village. In this area, you will notice a water point where you need to solve a puzzle. You have to play with the Fire Fairies and throw them in the right timing. Once the water is removed, you will notice the stele in a corner, at the very bottom.
Stela 4
- From the teleportation point indicated on the map, to the south, you have a riddle to solve. You will inevitably pass by there to unlock access to the summit when you pick up the 3 fragments. At the bottom, once the imitation cave has been unlocked, you will come across the stele.
Stela 5
- For this one, it will be necessary to cross the Luminstar Cave and take one of the exits (the one that leads to the south). The stele is quickly seen when you go out. Note that you have a guard accompanied by a riddle around.
Stela 6
- Found in the secret room of the Starlight Grotto. However, before having access to it, it is necessary to have unlocked the door and therefore find the three chests of the princess, the priest and the scribe, as explained in the guide available via the link.
Stela 7
- Is located simply in front of the Gates of the Dungeon. However, it is necessary to have unlocked access to Vindagnyr Peak, but don't panic, we'll explain how to do it.
Stela 8
- Although it is likely that you have unlocked it earlier, you are given this stele last since the logical sequence is to open the door. It is therefore south of the Statue of the Seven, very close to the famous door to be opened.
How to get the Snowfall Weapon in Silverstar?
Consult all the stelae
The first step is therefore to find the location of all the stelae listed above and to interact with them. Once the 8 have been consulted, Paimon explains that something is happening and that it would be better to return to this famous door. Go back to the location of Stele N°8 and activate the mechanism. The door opens.
Activate the braziers
The room is dark and you will see a precious chest at the bottom, which will also give you a purple agate as well as the Memories of the Buried City plan, which will allow you to craft the weapon. To unlock the weapon, you have to activate the 4 braziers distributed at the four ends of the room.
Nothing too complicated, take a Pyro character like Amber or Diluc and use a fire skill on them. Once it's done, small and short cinematic and surprise, the claymore Snowfall in Argstar appears in the center. Interact with her and you will get the famous Silverstar Snowfall.

Honestly, the Silverstar Snowfall is a pleasant surprise, and an excellent 4-star weapon. It will perfectly match a Cryo-focused team or a character wielding a double hand, like Chongyun. It has a percentage chance of generating a stalactite which will do area damage and a little more if the enemy is frozen.
Moreover, good news, you can refine it yourself since the plan mentioned above will allow you to craft a second one. For this, of course, you need a Prototype, along with crystal ores and the new deposit in the area.
