Battlefield 2042 is available since Friday, November 19 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series S. Like all recent games, the title receives regular updates.
This is particularly the case this Thursday, December 9 with the release of patch 0.3.1 on the game and the developers revealed the corrections and changes made by posting the patch notes on the EA site (source).

What does the 3.1 update (patch 0.3.1) contain for Battlefield 2042?
If you want to know what the 3.1 update contains, the developers have unveiled the full patch notes on the EA site as we told you previously, but here are the important fixes and changes made by this update:
- Improved registration of bullet impact on targets.
- Balancing spread and recoil.
- Rebalanced the 30, 40 and 57mm guns of ground vehicles to reduce their effectiveness against infantry.
- Fixed a rare bug that could cause a player to be invisible to enemy eyes.
- Fixed several bugs related to grenades and launchers.
- Improved menu flow for Xbox players to more easily access cross-play options.
- Audio enhancement focusing on clarity, distance and directional perception to improve your overall sound experience.
It should be noted that update 3.1 is the last update of the game before the start of the holidays as warned DICE.
