Battlefield 2042 is available in open beta from this Friday, October 8th and as you will quickly notice within the game, you will be able to customize your specialist's equipment.
To do this, you will have to go to the spawn menu and directly change the main weapon, secondary weapon, gadget and grenade you want to use.

What do you need to do to customize your specialist in Battlefield 2042?
If you want to modify an item of your specialist's equipment, you will need to go to spawn screen. Once on the screen, click on “Loadout” in order to select one of the class equipment packs or on the element that you want to modify by clicking on:
- the E key on PC
- the Circle button on PS4 and PS5
- the X button on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S
You can then press the indicated keys to see the different elements for choose another gadget, primary weapon, secondary weapon or your grenade. Be careful though, you will not be able to modify the basic skills of your specialist.
It should be noted that in game, you notice quite quickly that your guns don't have scopes. For change accessories on your weapon, press the T key on PC and drag your mouse over the item you want to place as a prop. Finally, remember that to get new weapons you will need to gain experience with the weapons of the category that interests you by making eliminations and ending games.
Finally, we remind you that Battlefield 2042 hasa beta in early access available from this Wednesday, October 6 for EA Play subscribers and players who pre-ordered the game, before the arrival of an open beta on Friday, October 8.
