Genshin impact is full of dungeons, but the Spiral Depths are somewhat apart in the game. Divided into several floors with hordes of monsters in each room and combat modifiers, this very special dungeon is not necessarily immediately accessible. Here's how to find and unlock it.
How do I unlock access to the Spiraling Depths?
First of all, note that access to the Spiraling Depths is blocked at the start of the game. To access it, you will first have to reach the adventure level 20.
However, even at level 20, the dungeon will still be inaccessible. This therefore means that you will have to find the dungeon yourself to activate its entrance, and this one is on the Marcus Reef, which was not the case in the beta.
From then on, go to the Cape of Promise, southeast of Mondstadt. Near the easternmost teleport point, you will find a strange portal.
To fly to him, you will first have to get rid of the Blobs in the area, before you can bring wind fireflies to the three altars. Once this is done, a draft of air will allow you to fly through the portal and take you to Marcus Reef.
On site, you will see the dungeon on the island. All you have to do is touch it to unlock access. Once this is done you can then return from the Spiraling Depths whenever you wish by teleporting.
