Since January 16, players of Genshin impact can take part in a new temporary in-game event, Symphony Hypostasis. The latter then consists of confronting the famous Elemental Hypostases, but this time in revisited versions. Here's everything you need to know about the Hypostasis Symphony event in Genshin Impact.

How to participate in the Symphonie Hypostase event?
To participate in this event, players must travel to the northern region of Liyue, east of Mount Aozang to find the dungeon that leads to the various challenges.
Each day, a new fight against a Hypostasis is available, for a week. You have until January 31 at 4 a.m. to participate. When you first beat a Hypostasis, you will be rewarded with 60 primo-gemmes.
Challenge Variations
When you select the challenge you wish to participate in, you will have access to several modifiers that change the difficulty of the fight. These modifiers will determine the score you get when the fight is over.
It is possible to adjust the difficulty of the fight by selecting Easy, Normal, Hard or Expert. This then changes the level of the boss, from level 20 to 80, and therefore its power.
The variations then add various rules during the fight, such as a timer that ends after 120 seconds, or penalties for your team. You must then select several in order to increase your final score.
Your score from each challenge will add up to that of the other challenges to form an overall score, allowing you to get rewards. It is therefore important to note that to increase your score, you must achieve the highest score in each challenge, because the different scores of one and the same challenge do not add together, only the highest is taken into account.
List of challenges
The Hypostases are relatively similar to those you can find in the world, but they are entitled to some new attacks. In addition, for each challenge, four characters are recommended, and these receive a boost if they are in your team at the time of the fight.
Challenge 1 – Electric Concerto I
Here are the recommended characters for this challenge:
- ganyu
- Xiangling
- Dilute
- chongyun
For this fight, the Electric Hypostasis will be aided by electric prisms placed at each corner of the arena that will activate and inflict area damage on you when you are near them.
You can temporarily disable them with an elemental reaction but they will activate again after a few moments. Positioning is therefore essential during this fight, which takes place in the same way as in the traditional world outside of the prisms.
It is therefore recommended to use recommended characters if you have them, or to use other Cryo or Pyro characters like Diona and Klee. Note that to kill it, it will be necessary to overcome many Electro particles, more than in the traditional world.
Challenge 2 – Storm Intermezzo I
Here are the recommended characters for this challenge:
- fischl
- Xing Qiu
- keqing
- albedo
The particularity of this fight lies in the fact that the Hypostasis will generate a few more particles which will be used to trigger attacks, but also the fact thatshe can turn into a butterfly continuously to perform attacks. It is then necessary to use a current of air to place you close to it while hovering, and to carry out a downward attack.
When the Hypostasis is weakened, you will have to rush more than usual to collect the particles, because some of them move.
Challenge 3 – Stone Sonata
Here are the recommended characters for this challenge:
- Klee
- Razor
- Noelle
- Bennett
As for the other Hypostases, the fight remains relatively similar, except that Hypostasis pillars will now bombard you with Geo missiles. You will therefore have to take cover behind the pillar you are attacking to avoid being hit.
Apart from the characters who are entitled to a bonus, it is also recommended to use Zhongli during this fight, if you have it.
The latter will be able to considerably weaken the pillars with his Dominus Lapidis (in long press) in addition to creating a shield that will resist Geo missiles very well, not to mention his meteor which can destroy the pillars without batting an eyelid. Nigguang can also provide you with an effective barrier if needed.

By increasing your total score, you will be able to get new rewards in addition to the 60 primo gems from each challenge. Here is the list of rewards offered according to your points:
