How to play Yanfei

Genshin Impact is already full of very good Pyro-type 5-star DPS characters such as Diluc, Klee, or even recently Hu Tao who is undoubtedly at the top of the basket. If you are character limited and don't have Benett or Xiangling as good 4 star Pyro characters, yanfei can take the role of the main DPS of your team or else of a correct DPS support.

Thanks to the accumulation of seals and her passive ability “Additional Dispositions”, she is very useful to do AOE damage over a long period thanks to her charged attack. However, make sure to make her act at the right time in order to benefit from her ultimate bonuses which dissipate if you change fighters. However, we advise you to unlock at least your first constellation to reduce the endurance cost of your charged attack and to resist interruptions.

Yanfei is a good DPS for beginners thanks to his fairly easy-to-use kit which consists of chaining together three basic attacks to accumulate the seals then to make a charged attack for maximum damage without forgetting the combinations with "Pact of flames" and “Enforcement of sentences”. • Witch of Burning Flames (Best) : Unsurprisingly, the Pyro set will suit Yanfei the best. Take it directly in 4 pieces in order to take advantage of the full bonus elemental reactions. Being a fighter who uses fire skills, it's no surprise that the Sorceress set is the best if you play her in DPS hand.
• wandering band (Best alternative) : The wanderer set is a good alternative for Yanfei since it will increase the EM and therefore the damage of the elemental reactions. The 4 piece will also improve charged attacks, something Yanfei will do very often.

Precision : The two sets mentioned here are probably the best for Yanfei, if not equivalent: the Witch set will improve normal attacks, E (Pact of Flames) and the ultimate, while the Vagabond set will rather optimize charged attacks. It all depends on your style of play.
